Moulding
or Molding?
There
is no need to stay awake countless hours wondering the correct
spelling of that wood trim found all over your home. Both
spellings are correct.
The
word molding is spelled with a " u " in some parts
of the world. Moulding is the British spelling. I have a tendency
to spell it with the u because that's how I started spelling
it when I was very young. (Can't teach an old dog new habits
I guess and I'm not British either).
You'll
see it spelled differently on this web site for the simple
reason that it will be picked up by search engines regardless
of the spelling.
There
is also the word miter (American spelling) and mitre (British
spelling) but that's a different topic.
